Ingredients

For the cake:

• 4 eggs, medium size
• 250 g butter, room temperature (2 sticks)
• 400 g flour (3 and 2/3 cups)
• 300 g sugar (1 and 1/3 cups)
• 200 ml cream (can round to 1 cup)
• 16 g baking powder (1 tablespoon)
• 1 pinch of salt

For the royal icing:

• 1 egg white
• 200 g confectioner’s sugar (2 cups)

To complete the Up decoration:

• An helium balloon kit
